The First DeLorean Italian Meeting
June 24-25-26, 2005 :: Cattolica (Rimini)

The DeLorean Italian Club (aka CID, Club Italiano DeLorean), with the collaboration of Cattolica municipality and the Advertising Agency E20, organizes the first DeLorean meeting in Italy.


*FREE* ACCOMMODATION FOR EVERYBODY WANTS TO TAKE PART IN WITH OWN DMC-12

EUROPEAN VISITORS AND OWN CARS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

BUT RESERVATION IS RECOMMENDED


Everybody from France, interested in that event, must GUARANTEE own presence.

We need NAME, SURNAME, PHONE NUMBER, COMPLETE ADDRESS, CAR VIN NUMBER, CAR LICENSE PLATE NUMBER.

They'll receive a single or double room for the night between 25th and 26th of June.

We will book and pay in advance the hotel rooms. We will reserve a parking area for each DMC-12 during the meeting.

The hotel will be near the sea or in the outskirts.

Probably in the outskirts for a bigger parking area that we need.

Everybody wants to spend holiday for a longer period and need to reserve a room, please wait for few weeks or send an inquiry to CID@OUTATIME.IT (object “Hotel Room EXTRA”).

INDICATE THE EXACT NUMBER OF PERSONS, THE NUMBER OF DELOREAN CARS, THE TYPE OR ROOM (SINGLE, DOUBLE, TRIPLE, ECC…) AND THE AVERAGE COST FOR NIGHT THE YOU INTEND TO PAY.

• 21.00 Teatro della Regina (Queen’s Theater) : BTTF trilogy showing



Saturday June, 25th

• 15.00 Arena della Regina (Queen’s Arena) : gadgets selling

• 15.00 Teatro della Regina : BTTF cartoons screening

• 16.30 Teatro della Regina : meeting with the Italian voice actors

• 18.30 Teatro della Regina : John Z. DeLorean tribute, documentaries showing

• 19.30 Teatro della Regina : meeting with the designer Mr. Giorgetto Giugiaro

• 21.00 Cattolica centro (Cattolica downtown) : DeLorean cars show

• 23.00 Piazza I Maggio (1st May Square) : spectacular introducing of all DeLorean cars. Surrounding the square, BTTF background musics and light effects. Pictures with fans and tourists. Cars procession up to the Arena della Regina



Sunday June, 26th

• 16.00 Arena della Regina : gadgets selling

• 17.00 Teatro della Regina : BTTF cartoons screening, bonus extra, ect.

• 19.30 Teatro della Regina : meeting with the Italian voice actors, debate

• 20.30 closing cerimony with thanks & compliments for all participants

Important note :

The DeLorean Italian Club did ask and obtain the FULL support of UNIVERSAL PICTURES ITALY.
We will use the copyright for all audio/visual materials (advertisements, movies, cartoons, theatre bills, ect…).

Also the Italian newspaper “IL RESTO DEL CARLINO” (from Bologna) will publish a special edition.

We suggest to come to Italy during Saturday and Sunday, because we are afraid that you can get bored on Friday (all movies are dubbed in Italian).

THE DELOREAN ITALIAN CLUB WANTS TO THANK EVERYBODY TOOK PART IN THE 1ST MEETING.

Personally I was so glad to have YOU as our special guests.

We hope that the meeting was amusing and interesting and you had good time in Cattolica.

I’d like to deepen our friendship but honestly I was VERY BUSY during the event and maybe I neglect our Guests.

Sorry for that.

Our Club has only few members and probably the organization was not perfect neither efficient at 100%.

I hope that you can apologize.

We have done our best and surely we will keep practicing and doing a better event in next years.

But the way our passion for the DeLorean car and BTTF trilogy did allow us to meet Tamir Ardon (from LA, USA), Jordan Rubin, Elvis Nocita, Wolfgang Hank, Peter Brickwede, Corrado D’Ambrogio, Rainer Fontana, Malik I. How many DeLorean come to these event ?
I saw license plate from Italy and Germany, but is there any other country which come ?
Unfortunately, no French member, but I hope next year you'll get more people
